Pictures galore!!!!

Here are some pictures I've taken over the last week or so. It's so hard to get a good picture of Isaac these days. He insists on moving every 5-10 seconds and my camera isn't that fast. Today I took him outside and set him in the grass. A change of scenery allows him to sit there for oh about 30 seconds! Enjoy!

Another year of blogging

That's right this is the 2nd complete year of blogging!!! Boy a lot has changed in just a year. It's time to order my hard copy of the blog. I just looked through last year's and it is amazing that September 25th ended my last post in the book and October 20th Isaac was born. And now not only do we have Isaac but we have Caleb too!!! These boys are our miracles!!!!

11 months old

First off, where has the time gone. My baby will be 1 in just a month!!!! He's becoming quite the toddler!!! He's at such a fun age though!!!! He's walking more and more every day, but still prefers to crawl because it's faster that way. The other day he said clear as a bell "K I T T Y" It was so cute. He's quite the character. It's getting harder and hard to get his picture taken unless he's in a swing or something as he just wants to move. No sitting still anymore. He's still got the most amazing eyes and I hope they stay that way. His hair is getting lighter and lighter. It may turn blond yet!!!! Onto the pictures!!!

ROOKIE CHALLENGE...SLEEPING BABY!

I found out about this cool blog through another friends blog and I thought I would join the challenge. I just love this picture of not one but two babies sleeping. How precious.

New pictures

Here are some new pictures of the boys!!!! I can't believe how much they are both growing!!! Isaac is just getting over a sinus infection so he looks a little rough in some of the pictures with his non stop runny nose. Maybe I'm biased, but he's still cute as ever! Caleb smiles all the time so beware for lots of smiley pictures!!

I tried to get some photos of Isaac outside, all he wanted to do was crawl, so I got a cute one of Caleb instead!

Isaac is walking

Isaac walked across the living room for the first time on September 8th. He hasn't mastered walking yet but he is still doing a few steps at a time here and there. It won't be long and he'll be walking everywhere. I'm so proud of him. He took his first steps at about 10 months and 3 weeks. Way to go Isaac!!!!!

Drumroll please...

Caleb went in for his 2 month check up with shots. He did pretty well with the shots and only cried a few minutes. I haven't had to give him any medication since this morning so we're doing good as far as side effects go. My boy is growing so much!!!!! Here are the stats...

12 lbs 1 oz 50th percentile
24 1/2 inches 95th percentile

He has the chubbiest little face but his body is so skinny like his Dad. We're getting close to being out of the 0-3 month clothing already!!! This sure is different compared to Isaac who was in 0-3 until he was 4 months old.

Where did my baby go?

It's been a cool week this week, waking up with temperatures in the high 40's to low 50's. I pulled out Isaac's John Deere sweatshirt and oh my goodness...he does not look like a baby anymore. He's a toddler!!! I cannot believe how much he's changing in looks. I looked at his 9 month pictures and it's just amazing. See for yourself! (I think he may be teething so that's where the red eyes are coming from).

Sleeping through the night!

Last week Caleb slept until 6:00 am and it was wonderful. I think that's pretty good for a 8 week old. Of course he started waking up again around 4:00 a few nights after that. Last night he slept through again until 6:00 so I think we're onto something. If I remember right, Isaac was close to 3 months old before he slept through the night for the first time. I do think I have two pretty good sleepers though. Isaac has been sleeping through the night consistently since about 5 months. He sleeps 10-11 hours which is so nice. I can't wait for Caleb to get to that point. Caleb is growing so much and so fast. He looks like a totally different baby. He looked like Daddy right from the beginning but now he looks a lot like Mommy. He's over 11 lbs for sure. I'm anxious to find out his exact measurements on Friday. He's going to be out of his 0-3 month clothing before he hits 3 months I am sure! I think he'll be passing Isaac up on sizes before long! Too funny.

Isaac is so much fun right now. He is into everything, such a curious boy. He took 2 steps on Saturday and Monday he took 3 steps. He continues to take a few steps at a time so I am sure he'll be walking before long. I guessed 11 months so we'll see. He's eating a lot of table food now and not much baby food which is nice. I can't believe my baby is almost 1.
