Caleb's fall pictures

I took a few pictures of Mr. Caleb outside. Of course we had a really windy weekend and all the leaves I had piled together were scattered. It was quite sunny too and the sun makes Caleb's hair look really red. I don't think he'll have red hair though, I think he'll have blond hair.

Isaac's 1st combine ride

On Isaac's birthday Ross happened to be combining corn at our place so I put on his John Deere sweatshirt and we headed out to the field. I got to ride too so Isaac would sit on my lap. I tried to get some good pictures but the flash was reflecting off of the window and I didn't have time to try and figure my camera out. I think the picture of Ross and Isaac from the side is really cute even if Isaac wasn't looking. Hopefully next year both boys will get to go.

Isaac's check up

Isaac had his check up today. He is growing right on schedule. He now weighs 20 lbs 11 oz. and is 30 1/4 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. He's really slimming down now that he is so mobile. This boy never slows down. He's been on milk for a couple weeks. We're trying different things to get his constipation under control but so far he seems to love it. He drinks so much more then he did formula. I can imagine the formula didn't taste so well. Everything else seemed fine, he's just a happy, healthy little toddler now.

Happy 1st Birthday Isaac Avery!

I can't believe our baby is ONE! This past year has gone by so fast. It's amazing that a little over a year ago we had no children and now we have two wonderful little boys. Isaac amazes us each and every day with everything he learns. He is turning into quite the toddler with an amazing personality. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Sunday we had a birthday party for him. Grandma and Grandpa B, Grandma and Grandpa K, Uncle Nolan, Aunt Gina, Uncle Brad, Cousin Caden, Great Grandma and Grandpa W were able to make it. Isaac loved his cake and presents. Thanks everyone for making Isaac's 1st birthday a memorable one!

Caleb and Bjorn

This weekend my brother Ryan, his wife Michelle and two of their kids Norah and Bjorn were down for the weekend. It was good to see them. Baby Bjorn has grown so much. Caleb and Bjorn are a little less than 5 weeks apart. It is so fun to compare them and see the difference in size. Although I must admit that Bjorn is catching up fast. I took a few pictures them. They are so cute!

Well it took about 3 different days of attempting to take fall pictures of Isaac. We couldn't get a nice day until today. Isaac also has a cold so we had to wipe his nose every 10 seconds. Anyway here are a few of the fall pictures.

Thank you Aunt Erin!

Aunt Erin isn't able to make it to Isaac's birthday party on Sunday, so she brought his present last weekend. He got a cool penguin and hammer set. He MAY have given the impression he liked the wrapping paper best of all, but trust me he loves his toys! He continues to play with them. He loves hitting the Penguin and just giggles all the time!

First Haircut!

Well I gave in and we took Isaac to the salon for his first haircut. His bangs were so long I decided it was time to get them trimmed. I had Donna who does my hair cut his hair. We weren't sure how Isaac would do so we decided to have him sit on my lap which was more fun for me anyways!!! He was such a good boy during his haircut. I couldn't part with the curls in back so we decided to let them be for a while. I can't believe how grown up he looks now. He looks like such a big boy!!!

Caleb did it!

Caleb rolled over yesterday! We had our nurse JoAnn from Healthy Families come for her weekly visit. We put Caleb on his back and started shaking a toy by his face in the opposite direction and he rolled. We then did it 3 more times. I am so proud of my boy! He's just a little over 3 months old. He hasn't gotten the back to tummy yet, but that one is a little harder. Last night I wanted Ross to see him do it so before his night bottled I put him on his tummy and before I even got the toy out he had rolled over. I'd say he's mastered that one!

I still see it!

When Caleb was first born so many people told us how they look so much like "blood brothers" and I agree. As Caleb has grown I haven't seen it quite as much. I just looked at Isaac's 3 month picture and Caleb's 3 month picture and to me they have a similar shaped face. Maybe it's because I'm their Mom that I see it, but I think it's just amazing. God hand picked Isaac for us and blessed us with the birth of Caleb and these 2 boys are going to be the best of friends, I can already tell!!!

When I first found out I was pregnant I was freaked out to say the least. I didn't know how I could handle 2 infants. It was hard enough being pregnant and caring for Isaac. Then Caleb was born and the first month or two was extremely hard. I honestly didn't know how I was going to go back to work and care for these 2. But now it seems like it's much easier. We all have schedules down, both boys are the happiest babies. Isaac sleeps 10+ hours and Caleb wakes up once a night. I do want another child (not for a long time though) but if we aren't able to have anymore children I know that we're perfectly content with these two wonderful gifts from God! We're privileged to be able to raise these 2!

Walmart photos

I got the copyrights to the photo session we had done with Walmart. They did an excellent job. We were lucky enough to have the manager taking the photos and he was so good with the boys. I think the photos turned out so good. He did some editing to some of them too which is cute. Now in a couple weeks when Isaac turns 1 I am going to take him back for more photos but I doubt I'll get very many because these are so good!
